  • Therapeutic Massage

    30, 45, 60, 90 minutes
    This treatment begins with discussing the client’s concerns and lifestyle, this is taken into account during their body assessment. A traditional Swedish massage will then be applied with advance Therapeutic Massage techniques that offer specific therapy to the soft tissues, tendons and joints in the dysfunctional areas.

    The first appointment will require 60 minutes to allow time for initial assessment and medical history review.

  • Deep Tissue Massage

    30, 45, 60 minutes

    This treatment begins with discussing the client’s concerns and lifestyle, which is then taken into account during the body assessment. A Swedish massage is then applied, we use deeper pressure at the therapist’s discretion and as muscle tissue allows. Anchor Massage Therapy therapists are trained to interpret the responses of the body to the applied pressure. Deep Tissue Massage is a technique that is mostly used during rehabilitation from injury or surgery.

    The first massage will require 60 minutes for full assessment.

  • Stress Reduction Massage

    30, 45, 60, 90 minutes
    This treatment begins with discussing the client’s concerns and lifestyle, which is taken into account during their body assessment. A variety of relaxation techniques are used that aid in the circulation of blood and lymph, promote proper sleep cycles, and general healing of the body and nervous system, hormonal balance, and sense of well-being.

  • Prenatal Massage

    45, 60 minutes

    We welcome all pregnant women!.  We are trained to adapt our regular techniques and exercise caution, avoiding the trigger points that should not be treated at particular trimesters or during the entire pregnancy. The treatment begins with discussing the client’s complaints and lifestyle, which is then taken into account during their body assessment. A traditional Swedish massage is applied with advance techniques that offer specific therapy to the dysfunctional area.

    The first appointment will require 60 minutes to complete a full assessment.

  • TMJD (Temporal mandibular joint disfunction)

    Included in treatment time.
    This massage is specific to the jaw and begins with an assessment of that area. The therapist may decide to incorporate this treatment in their massage when conditions such as headaches, jaw pain, ear complaints such as clicking or popping, teeth grinding and/or tired eyes present. This massage is applied with advanced techniques to the face, neck and inner jaw. 

  • Taping

    Included in treatment time.
    Taping is used post-treatment to stabilize any injured body structure, such as joints. It is also used to help correct bad postures, strains, and displacements, and assists the body to heal in correct alignment. The therapist may use taping at the end of any of the treatments as required.

  • Sports Massage

    Included in treatment time.
    PRE-EVENT:  This massage is applied before sports activities and is used to warm joints and ligaments allowing for safer engagement. It is quick and typically applied on-site.

    POST-EVENT:  Applied after the activity, this treatment flushes out the tissue to reduce stiffness and DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness.) This massage helps to decrease healing time and ensure the muscles heal in proper alignment.
